Summary:The Tianlian humanoid robot T1, independently developed by Tianlian, stands approximately 1.60 meters tall and boasts 71 degrees of freedom throughout its body. The robot’s bare unit weighs only about 37 kilograms, while its weight—including the battery—comes to roughly 43 kilograms. It can perform deep squats with a load capacity exceeding 145 kg. The range of motion in its joints matches the flexibility typically seen in professional dancers: the hip joint offers a range of motion from -25° to 142°; the knee joint spans from -10° to 155°; the lumbar region allows for ±45° of lateral movement and ±90° of forward-and-backward movement. The angular velocity of the joints reaches up to 720°/s, with some joints capable of achieving speeds as high as 900°/s. The robot’s maximum walking speed is 10 km/h. Meanwhile, the humanoid robot’s joints can deliver a maximum torque of 450 Nm, with instantaneous peak values reaching up to 562 Nm. The knee joint can generate a maximum torque of 281 Nm, while the ankle joint can produce a maximum torque of 148 Nm. Additionally, it features a vertical ankle joint with an output of 44 Nm and a vertical hip joint with an output of 127 Nm. The total maximum torque output per single leg reaches 1,162 Nm—and this remarkable torque output is achieved despite the single leg weighing only about 9 kilograms. To date, Tianlian has obtained over 50 invention patents in the robotics field, bringing its total patent portfolio to more than 150 patents.
